Allego vs Highspot

Allego vs Highspot, now that Highspot is part of Seismic

If you are shortlisting these two, one fact reframes the whole comparison: Highspot completed its merger with Seismic on 18 August 2026 and now trades as Highspot by Seismic. Here is what each platform does, and what that change means for your evaluation.

TL;DR

Five things to take from this page

  • Highspot is not an independent vendor any more. The Seismic merger completed on 18 August 2026 and the product now trades as Highspot by Seismic. Almost everything else you will read comparing these two was written before that.
  • Role-play is no longer the row that decides it. Highspot's July 2026 launch added multi-persona AI Role Play, Present Content in Role-Play and role-play generation through an MCP server. Allego ships the Live Dialog Simulator. Any comparison saying one of them lacks role-play is stale.
  • Allego documents languages, Highspot does not. Allego publishes 32 languages, 71 voices and accents and scoring in 59 languages. Highspot publishes no language count for AI Role Play, and the numbers circulating in third-party posts trace back to a 2020 press release.
  • Packaging still separates them. On Highspot's own pricing page Role Play appears from the middle package and Meeting Intelligence sits in the top one. Allego prices AI Role Play as one of four separate product lines.
  • Highspot publishes region-based data residency control, which Allego does not document. If residency is a procurement gate, that row matters more than any feature row above it.

What changed

Highspot is now part of Seismic

Highspot and Seismic announced a definitive agreement to merge on 12 February 2026, and the deal completed on 18 August 2026. Highspot's site is still live and the product is still sold, but its logo now reads Highspot by Seismic and the homepage leads with a combined identity.

This matters for a shortlist because you are no longer comparing two independent vendors. You are comparing an independent company against a product line inside the largest platform in the category, which now holds two overlapping content systems and has not published an integration roadmap.

That is not a reason to rule Highspot out. It is a reason to add one question to the evaluation: what happens to this specific product at renewal, and what is the migration commitment in writing. For the parent company side of this, see Allego vs Seismic, and PitchMonster vs Highspot covers the product on its own.

Highspot's own homepage: the logo reads Highspot by Seismic, and the hero pairs both brands above the line that the two companies have come together.highspot.com, captured 24 August 2026

Pick one

The short version

Recommended

Pick PitchMonster if

The funded problem is rep readiness rather than content governance. PitchMonster builds sales practice and nothing else: three practice modes including screen-share, a scenario built from your own call recording in about two minutes, one scorecard covering role-play and real recorded calls, 29 languages included on every plan, and EU data residency from an independent European company. It does not replace a content platform, so teams that need one keep it and add us for the practice layer.

Pick Allego if

You want an independent vendor and coaching depth. Allego's video coaching and peer certification heritage is the deepest in the category, they publish 32 languages with scoring in 59, and there is no open question about who owns the roadmap. They were named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms.

Pick Highspot if

Content governance and buyer engagement are the primary job, and scale reassures you rather than worrying you. Highspot's content management, AI search, governance, digital sales rooms with buyer tracking, SCORM authoring and 100+ integrations are enterprise-grade, they hold SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701, and they carry 4.7 on G2 across more than a thousand reviews.

Ask all three in writing

All three ship AI role-play, so that is no longer the deciding row. Highspot's July 2026 launch added multi-persona role-play, Present Content in Role-Play and role-play generation via an MCP server. What separates them today is independence, language documentation, and which package holds real-call analysis. Ask each vendor to put that last one in writing on the quote.

The third option

Why PitchMonster is in this comparison

PitchMonster competes with both vendors, so treat the table as a starting point and verify it. Every cell comes from published material, ours included, and the fact-check block below will hand the page to an AI to check.

We are in the comparison because a lot of people running this search do not need either platform. If the funded problem is reps being ready for a specific conversation, buying a go-to-market enablement suite to get the role-play inside it is a large purchase for one capability, and the merger adds a roadmap question on top.

PitchMonster is an independent European company that builds sales practice and nothing else: three practice modes including screen-share, real calls scored on the same scorecard reps practised against, an AI coach the rep opens on demand, and 29 languages included on every plan.

Where we lose, the table says so. Highspot beats us outright on content management, governance and buyer engagement, Allego documents more languages than we do, and both hold certifications we do not. If content at enterprise scale is the job, buy one of them. If the job is getting reps ready, start with us. You can also see every alternative to us, including these two, on one page.

Decision areaRecommended
Corporate status, August 2026
Independent European company, privately held, single product line. No open question about who owns the roadmap
Independent. US-headquartered, privately held
Part of Seismic since 18 August 2026, trading as Highspot by Seismic. The combined company operates under the Seismic name and CEO Rob Tarkoff
Platform centre
Sales practice only. Role-play in three modes, one scorecard across practice and real calls, and an AI coach. No content platform, no digital sales rooms
Revenue enablement suite built out from video coaching: content management, modern learning, AI Role Play & Coaching, digital sales rooms, conversation intelligence
Go-to-market enablement platform built out from content: content management and governance, sales plays, digital sales rooms, training, coaching, meeting intelligence and AI agents
AI role-play
The core product, not one capability inside a suite. Phone, face-to-face and screen-share, with 40+ customizations in the editor, difficulty levels and voice and accent settings
Live Dialog Simulator runs unscripted video-avatar meeting simulations, priced as its own product line
AI Role Play with multi-persona sessions and Present Content in Role-Play, both added in the July 2026 launch, plus role-play generation through the Highspot MCP Server
Where role-play sits in packaging
There is no packaging question. Role-play, real-call scoring and the AI coach are the product
A separately priced product line among four. Their site states AI capabilities and support are always included
By their own pricing page, Role Play appears from the middle package. Meeting Intelligence sits in the top one
Real-call analysis
Call Analysis is included. Real calls scored on the same scorecard reps practice against, rather than sitting in a top tier
Conversation Intelligence is its own product line, capturing and analysing customer interactions
Meeting Intelligence and Meeting Agent connect call signals and prospect feedback to your skill framework. Listed in the top Coach and Reinforce package
Scenario sources
Build from a script, a document, a call transcript or a real call recording, in about two minutes. Scenarios are not limited to material already inside the platform
Describe the scenario in natural language and the AI generates it. Sparks agents can generate role-play scenarios from inside CRM
Role-plays are built from the content, messaging and training already in your Highspot instance, and can be generated through the MCP Server from external AI platforms
Coaching mechanic
AI Coach opens a two-way conversation the rep starts on demand after any session. It asks what they would change, then shows the scorecard. Speech coaching alongside it
Reps receive structured guidance after every session, reinforcing what to improve next
Instant AI feedback on delivery and tone, described as skill-based feedback rather than just a score, tied to your competency framework. Copilot reviews meetings and practice pitches for managers
Certification
Human-led feedback and certification alongside AI scoring, with admin roles, groups and company structure. Narrower than either suite, and no SCORM authoring
A long-standing strength: interactive video pitch certifications, peer video coaching and structured curricula
Role-based certifications, rapid and AI-accelerated lesson authoring, personalised learning paths, SCORM and third-party learning content, plus a marketplace of packaged programs
Languages
29 languages and dialects, identical scoring criteria in every one, at no extra cost. Fewer than Allego's documented count, but published and included
32 languages, 71 voices and accents, and scoring in 59 languages, by their own platform documentation
Language coverage for AI Role Play is not publicly documented. Circulating counts trace back to a 2020 press release, so treat any number you are quoted as something to confirm
Content management and buyer engagement
Not built. We pull your materials in to create scenarios and integrate with your LMS. Highspot wins this row outright and we do not compete for it
Sales Content Management and Digital Sales Rooms are full modules, but content is not the platform's origin
Core strength. Content management, AI search, governance, AutoDocs, sales plays and digital sales rooms with buyer engagement tracking
Integrations
Salesforce and Gong, LMS integration, webhooks, SSO and 2FA. A deliberately narrow set built around the practice loop, and smaller than both
120+ integrations named on their site, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Zoom, Teams, Webex, Cornerstone, Degreed, Okta, Tableau and Power BI
More than 100 integrations, including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, Google and Salesloft
Published certifications
SOC 2 and GDPR, with EU data residency as the default rather than a configurable control. The shortest certification list of the three
SOC 2 Type II with annual third-party penetration testing, security practices stated as following ISO 27001 and OWASP standards, GDPR, UKDPL and CCPA
SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR and EU AI Act. Region-based data residency control is listed as a platform feature
Independent reviews
4.9 on G2, on a far smaller review base than Highspot's thousand-plus
Leader, 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms. 4.6 on G2
4.7 on G2 across more than a thousand reviews, and a long-standing presence in enterprise analyst coverage
Pricing model
Sales-led, no public pricing. One product, so there is one line item rather than a package to decode
Sales-led, no public per-seat pricing. Four separately priced product lines
Sales-led, no public pricing. Three named packages sized by go-to-market headcount and use case, quoted through sales

Every row above comes from each vendor's own published documentation, checked in August 2026. Where a vendor does not publish something, the row says so rather than guessing. Details in this category change fast, so verify anything that decides your shortlist.

Why the obvious comparison is out of date

Role-play stopped being the deciding row

For most of 2024 and 2025 an Allego-versus-Highspot comparison could reasonably turn on whether the platform did AI role-play at all. That is no longer a useful question, and a lot of what still ranks for this search has not caught up.

Highspot's July 2026 launch added multi-persona AI Role Play, Present Content in Role-Play so a rep can rehearse a deck rather than only a call, and role-play generation through an MCP server. Allego ships the Live Dialog Simulator with unscripted video avatars. Both work.

What is still separable is documentation. Allego publishes hard numbers for language coverage. Highspot does not publish a language count for AI Role Play, and the figures circulating in third-party posts trace back to a 2020 press release about the wider platform. If you are certifying reps across regions on one rubric, that gap is the row to press on.

What each vendor actually ships today

  • Highspot AI Role Play: multi-persona sessions, Present Content in Role-Play, and generation through the Highspot MCP Server, all from the July 2026 launch.
  • Highspot role-play sources: built from the content, messaging and training already inside your Highspot instance.
  • Allego Live Dialog Simulator: unscripted video-avatar meeting simulations, priced as its own product line.
  • Allego scenario building: describe the scenario in natural language and the AI generates it. Sparks agents can generate scenarios from inside CRM.
  • PitchMonster: three practice modes including screen-share, and scenarios built from a script, a document, a transcript or a real call recording rather than only from material already in the platform.

Ask Highspot this in writing

How many languages does AI Role Play support today, and is scoring available in all of them? The number is not published anywhere on their own site, so a figure from a comparison blog is not something to build a regional certification programme on.

The variable that did not exist in January

What the merger actually changes for a buyer

Highspot and Seismic were the two largest vendors in this category and are now one company. Both products are still sold and supported. What does not exist yet is a published roadmap for two overlapping content platforms, two enablement products and two customer bases.

For a short contract that may not matter. For a multi-year enterprise agreement it is a real variable, and it is one Allego does not have - independence is now a differentiator they did not have to build.

It also changes how you should read your own research. Almost everything published comparing these two vendors predates 18 August 2026, which means it describes either two independent companies or a pending deal. Check publication dates on anything informing this decision, including this page, which we last reviewed in August 2026.

Put these to the Highspot team before you sign

  • Which of the two content platforms is our content living on in eighteen months?
  • What happens to the specific product we are being demoed at our first renewal?
  • Is the migration commitment in the contract, or only in the deck?
  • Does our implementation team survive the integration, and who owns the account afterwards?

Worth saying plainly

None of this makes Highspot the wrong choice. Larger vendors fund more engineering, and the product you are shown today is real. It is one extra question, and it deserves a written answer rather than a reassuring one.

Read this before the demos

Where each one is genuinely stronger

Both platforms are strongest at the thing they were originally built for. Buy the origin, not the bolt-on.

Allego's depth is coaching and video. Peer video coaching and pitch certification are the product's origin, and their published language and voice figures are the clearest in the category.

Highspot's depth is content at enterprise scale, with governance, AI search, AutoDocs and digital sales rooms that track what buyers actually do with what you send. Their review base is the larger of the two, and they list region-based data residency control as a platform feature, which Allego does not publicly document.

One shared caveat: neither publishes prices, and role-play and real-call analysis sit in different packages on each. Price the workflow you want rather than the platform you were shown, and get both quotes itemised.

The published edge, vendor by vendor

  • Allego, languages: 32 languages, 71 voices and accents, scoring in 59 languages.
  • Allego, analyst position: Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms, and 4.6 on G2.
  • Allego, independence: no parent company and no unpublished integration roadmap.
  • Highspot, content: management, AI search, governance, AutoDocs, sales plays and digital sales rooms with buyer engagement tracking.
  • Highspot, learning: role-based certifications, personalised learning paths, SCORM and third-party content, plus a marketplace of packaged programs.
  • Highspot, compliance: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, EU AI Act, and region-based data residency control.
  • Where PitchMonster loses to both: no content management, no digital sales rooms, no SCORM authoring, the shortest published certification list of the three, and no analyst coverage.

The honest summary

If content at enterprise scale is the job, this is a two-horse race and we are not in it. Read PitchMonster vs Highspot and PitchMonster vs Allego only if getting reps ready is the thing you are actually buying.
