"Not confirmed (October 2026)" means we could not verify a score. It does not describe how many reviews a vendor has. Published prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked October 2026, and PitchMonster sells by quote.

How we evaluated
- Does it teach MEDDIC or MEDDPICC directly? (Scored.)
- What happens after training: coaching, deal inspection, scored practice, and what managers see? (Scored.)
- Can practice be built from your own buyers and calls? (Scored.)
- Is the format self-paced, instructor-led, a platform or AI practice? (Reported in the comparison table.)
- What evidence and published prices does the vendor offer for a team rollout? (Reported in the vendor-states and pricing tables, not scored.)
We reviewed ranking pages for these searches in October 2026. The strongest list pages are self-published by one vendor. This article names the providers recurring in search results and AI answers, and states when a vendor does not publish a detail.
Scores and ranking order
Each score runs from 1 to 5 and rests only on what the vendor states on its own pages, checked October 25 and 26, 2026. A tool can do more than its pages say. This table shows what each score means. A dash means no tool scored that value on that criterion.
Score | Teaches MEDDIC | Practice and manager view | Practice from your own buyers |
|---|---|---|---|
5 | MEDDIC or MEDDPICC training is the core offer | Scored practice, plus analytics or reporting named (depth not compared) | A buyer can be rebuilt from your own call, transcript or CRM record |
4 | A dedicated MEDDICC program inside a wider platform | Scored practice, reporting not named | Practice is built from your own content, or a calls-to-practice feature is named |
3 | - | Coaching, deal inspection or reinforcement tools, no scored practice | Buyers or scenarios can be customized, source not stated |
2 | A MEDDIC-named scorecard template, no course | - | AI-enabled practice is mentioned, customization not stated |
1 | No MEDDIC offer stated | None stated | No practice stated |
Tool | Teaches MEDDIC | Practice and manager view | Practice from your own buyers |
|---|---|---|---|
Force Management | 5 | 3 | 1 |
MEDDIC Academy | 5 | 3 | 1 |
MEDDICC.com | 5 | 3 | 1 |
PitchMonster | 2 | 5 | 5 |
SalesHood | 4 | 5 | 4 |
Hyperbound | 1 | 5 | 4 |
Kendo | 2 | 5 | 3 |
Second Nature | 1 | 5 | 3 |
Richardson Sales Performance | 1 | 3 | 2 |
ValueSelling Associates | 1 | 3 | 1 |
We sorted the tools into 3 groups, then by score inside each group. Group 1 holds the programs whose core offer is MEDDIC training (Teaches MEDDIC = 5). Group 2 holds the tools with scored practice. Group 3 holds the programs for other methods, with no MEDDIC offer and no scored practice stated.
Inside a group, tools sort by Practice and manager view, then Practice from your own buyers, then Teaches MEDDIC, then alphabetically. The scores are not added up. Force Management, MEDDIC Academy and MEDDICC.com tie on all 3, so they are listed alphabetically. Group 2 is defined by scored practice, so the 2 practice criteria sort first inside it. Price is left out of the scores because the pricing table shows it, with the date it was checked.
PitchMonster ranks 4th. It ties SalesHood on Practice and manager view (5) and scores higher on Practice from your own buyers (5 against 4), so it leads group 2. It is not a course, so the 3 course programs come first. Each score rests on a vendor page you can open and check.

Types of MEDDIC training
MEDDIC training is instruction that teaches sales reps to qualify deals on Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identify Pain and Champion. It comes as a certification course, a workshop or a practice tool. A rollout can pair a teaching program with ongoing practice, so reps keep using the method after the course.
- Some programs pair instructor-led workshops with an online platform. Force Management follows this format; MEDDIC Academy and MEDDICC.com also run workshops.
- Others sell online certification courses. MEDDIC Academy and MEDDICC.com include self-paced learning.
- Enablement platforms with MEDDICC content and coaching combine lessons, coaching and role-play. SalesHood is the example here.
- PitchMonster runs practice built from your own calls, scored on a shipped MEDDIC / MEDDPICC template, with an AI Coach that asks before it scores.
- AI role-play with custom or template scorecards is offered by Kendo, Hyperbound and Second Nature. Kendo lists a MEDDPIC template; Hyperbound and Second Nature name no MEDDIC template on the pages checked.
- Broader methodology programs from Richardson Sales Performance and ValueSelling Associates teach other methods for teams that do not run MEDDIC.
A course teaches the method, and practice tools test whether reps can use it.

Who MEDDICC.com is best for
MEDDICC.com fits teams that want a MEDDPICC certification and membership that can add workshops and deal reviews. For practice against an AI buyer, plan on another tool.
4. PitchMonster: AI role-play and coaching that scores MEDDIC practice on your own buyers

PitchMonster belongs to the practice and reinforcement group: reps rehearse MEDDIC after someone teaches it. PitchMonster holds 4.9 out of 5 on G2 (checked July 2026).
PitchMonster scorecard templates: MEDDIC / MEDDPICC scored on every role-play
PitchMonster includes a reusable MEDDIC / MEDDPICC scorecard template for scoring AI role-plays. Reps who finished a workshop can practice buyer conversations against consistent criteria, then review where they missed a question. The template picker is searchable and describes its focus as decision-makers, buying process, competition and real business impact.
Other reusable templates cover Challenger, SPICED and PitchMonster Essentials. Teams can also create custom templates or save a role-play's scorecard as a template. Teams can standardize practice across a rollout and keep their own language in the criteria.
The PitchMonster scorecard builder: your own MEDDIC criteria and knowledge base

PitchMonster lets an admin set a written goal or a score threshold for a role-play. Threshold choices include 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% or a custom setting. A knowledge base can be uploaded for that role-play so the AI scores against the team's material.
Criteria sit in named blocks, can be reordered and may use AI assistance. The criteria visible in the screenshot are generic examples; a MEDDIC scorecard would hold your own Metrics, Economic Buyer and Champion questions. After a session, the rep receives a score out of 100, changes versus the last and first attempts, star-rated topics, and TRUE or FALSE criteria. Failed criteria include written coaching and a worked example. The scorecard therefore gives reps a specific next step instead of a single pass-or-fail result.
PitchMonster buyers built from your real calls
PitchMonster has 5 ways to build a role-play: From Link, From Files, Replicate, Connectors and From CSV. Replicate rebuilds a buyer from a real call or transcript, including the person's title, context, pains and objections. Connectors can use Salesforce or Gong and point to a call or opportunity.
An admin can choose among Easy, Medium, Hard and Insane difficulty levels, and use a static photo or 3D avatar. Voice and accent options include USA, UK and Australia selections. Role-plays are available in 29 languages. These choices let a team turn its own buyer conversations into repeatable practice, then adjust difficulty as reps improve.
The PitchMonster AI Coach asks before it scores
PitchMonster's AI Coach steps in before the score appears and asks the rep reflective questions. The rep can skip or talk with the coach, which is available 24/7. This gives a rep time to notice what happened before seeing a score and written feedback.
PitchMonster Live Call Analysis: the same scorecard on real calls
PitchMonster also has Live Call Analysis. Upload a real call recording and the platform scores it against a chosen scorecard, using the same scorecards as role-plays. The call list shows the scorecard applied, the goal status and the score. A manager can compare practice scores with scores on real calls under the same framework.
What managers and L&D see in PitchMonster
PitchMonster provides a Performance tab for each role-play. Managers can see recording and user counts at 80%+, scorecard-group ratings out of 5, Low, Mid and High bands, and improvement over time against the pass threshold. Workspace Analytics shows recordings, practice minutes, average score and each user's 80%+ count.
Team comments on a recording are written by managers, not by the AI. Group hierarchy controls which users can see each other's scores, and admins can disable the leaderboard. Enterprise features include EU data residency, SAML SSO, webhooks via Svix and AI disclosure notices before recordings, for EU AI Act transparency obligations.
Rolling out PitchMonster across managers and regions
Admins can build a company structure as a nested group tree, such as regions with sub-groups. Invite Users takes pasted emails or a CSV and assigns each person a group and role-plays in the same table. Role-plays live in a library with folders.
Reps can also use Solo Practice to rehearse a scenario without a counterpart.
PitchMonster pricing
By quote; trials are sales-led. The quote includes onboarding, a dedicated customer success manager and support, with no setup fees.
PitchMonster compared with a MEDDIC course
A course and a practice tool do different jobs. The table sets PitchMonster beside the 3 programs that teach MEDDIC directly: Force Management, MEDDIC Academy and MEDDICC.com. It rests on each vendor's own pages.
Dimension | MEDDIC course vendors | |
|---|---|---|
Teaches the method | No; reps need someone to teach MEDDIC first | Yes, as the core offer |
Scored practice on your own buyers | Yes, with buyers rebuilt from your calls | Not described on the pages checked |
What managers see afterwards | Practice minutes, scores and 80%+ counts per user | Coaching guides, a Managers course or deal reviews |
Certification | None issued | Certificates, badges or certification modules |
Where PitchMonster falls short
PitchMonster issues no MEDDIC certification, badge or certificate, and it is not a course. Reps still need someone to teach MEDDIC first. It does not do course authoring or SCORM. Its shipped templates cover Challenger, SPICED and MEDDIC / MEDDPICC, so a SPIN or Sandler team needs custom criteria. No customer has published a MEDDIC-specific outcome with us.
Who PitchMonster is best for
PitchMonster fits mid-market and enterprise revenue, enablement and learning teams that already teach a sales method and need structured practice afterward.
Mentor Group, a UK sales consultancy that adds PitchMonster practice to the programs it runs for clients, reports new hires ramping 50% faster on average. It also reports a 2X reduction in coaching time per rep (Mentor Group case study). At Syngenta, a Mentor Group client, 90% of participants reported more confidence. Internal assessments showed a 27% improvement in message-delivery accuracy within 3 weeks, after a live workshop followed by practice in PitchMonster. These are results of practice after live training and are not MEDDIC outcomes.

Individual courses and self-serve seats are priced per person. At larger team sizes most vendors here quote or tailor the price, including MEDDIC Academy and MEDDICC.com for 11 or more reps. PitchMonster quotes the whole rollout, and the quote includes onboarding, a dedicated customer success manager and support, with no setup fees.
PRN Health Services gives one data point on cost against outcome. It compared real-call scores for recruiters who completed its PitchMonster-supported training program with recruiters who had not. Over a 60-day measurement period, completers scored 22.37% higher (PRN Health Services case study). That is a practice result, not a MEDDIC outcome.
How to choose the right MEDDIC training
Choosing MEDDIC training starts with the job your team needs done: teach the method, certify knowledge or reinforce its use on calls. Individual certification with published prices points to MEDDIC Academy or MEDDICC.com. An enterprise rollout suits Force Management or SalesHood. If reps finish a course but skip key questions, add practice through PitchMonster, Kendo, Hyperbound or Second Nature.
Choose the practice layer by the work it supports: a MEDDIC template, call review, real-call scoring or an LMS connection. If your team runs another method, Richardson Sales Performance covers Challenger and consultative selling, and ValueSelling Associates covers value selling. Teams using SPIN Selling should look for spin selling software that allows custom scorecard criteria; PitchMonster scores custom criteria but ships no SPIN template. See our guide to SPIN Selling.
- If you run a small team and need a shared vocabulary, compare the small-team options from MEDDIC Academy and MEDDICC.com.
- If you are rolling out across mid-market or enterprise teams, pair a program with a practice layer across managers and regions. PitchMonster supports 29 languages with EU data residency.
- If you are an L&D owner proving adoption, look for practice minutes and score bands. PitchMonster reports practice minutes and the share of recordings and users scoring 80%+.
The strongest rollout connects a method lesson to repeated practice and manager review. Decide how you will judge adoption before selecting the platform.
What MEDDIC, MEDDICC and MEDDPICC mean
MEDDIC is a 6-part qualification method: Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identify Pain and Champion. MEDDICC adds Competition as a second C, while MEDDPICC adds Paper Process for 8 parts. Providers use these versions in their courses and tools; read the 8 parts of MEDDPICC for the expanded framework.
Training event vs reinforcement
A training event teaches MEDDIC at one point in time, while reinforcement gives reps ways to apply it afterwards. MEDDIC Academy, MEDDICC.com and Force Management teach and certify. SalesHood combines MEDDICC content with coaching and role-play. PitchMonster, Kendo, Hyperbound and Second Nature support practice, and Richardson and ValueSelling teach other methods.
If your reps have already finished a course, MEDDIC training software covers the reinforcement half, since a course alone does not show whether reps use the method on calls. See our methodology training and practice page for the distinction between learning and rehearsal.
How a MEDDIC scorecard works in practice
A MEDDIC scorecard is a set of criteria that a manager or an AI scores during a practice conversation, so each MEDDIC element becomes an observable behavior. It keeps the same questions in view across reps and attempts, while the practice buyer responds to what the rep says.
- Teach the method so reps know what each MEDDIC element asks them to uncover.
- Build a practice scenario from your own buyer context and playbook.
- Score the role-play against the MEDDIC / MEDDPICC criteria.
- Review scores and practice minutes to see what reps practiced and where they need coaching.
The table shows one observable criterion for each MEDDPICC element. It is an illustrative example, not the text of PitchMonster's shipped template.
Element | Example of an observable criterion |
|---|---|
Metrics | The rep asks which numbers the buyer will use to judge success. |
Economic Buyer | The rep asks who signs off and when they last approved a similar spend. |
Decision Criteria | The rep asks what the buyer will compare the options on. |
Decision Process | The rep asks for the steps and dates from now to a signed deal. |
Paper Process | The rep asks which legal and procurement steps follow the decision. |
Identify Pain | The rep asks what the problem costs today and who feels it. |
Champion | The rep asks what the champion will do to move the deal forward. |
Competition | The rep asks what else the buyer is evaluating. |
The scorecard works best when each criterion names an observable behavior, not a vague impression. Managers can then connect a weak criterion to a specific coaching conversation.
What we left out and why
We left out the sales technology that competitor lists sometimes include: Gong, Highspot, Clari (now sold inside Salesloft), Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce and HubSpot Academy. These tools support selling but do not train reps on MEDDIC, so they are not entries.
2 call-intelligence tools do mention MEDDIC. Claap says it can grade recorded calls against MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, BANT, SPICED or custom criteria. Attention says AI Scorecards grade every call against MEDDIC, BANT or a custom framework. Both review real calls rather than running practice, so they are not entries (vendor pages checked October 25, 2026).

Frequently asked questions
What is MEDDICC?
MEDDICC is a sales qualification framework that adds Competition to the 6 MEDDIC elements. Its letters stand for Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identify Pain, Champion and Competition. MEDDPICC adds Paper Process as an eighth element. The labels help sales teams inspect whether a complex opportunity has a clear business case and buying path.
What is the difference between MEDDIC and BANT?
The difference between MEDDIC and BANT is the depth of deal qualification. BANT means Budget, Authority, Need and Timing, and according to MEDDIC Academy it suits simple lead screening or transactional inbound opportunities. MEDDIC explores whether business pain justifies action in a complex B2B deal, alongside decision criteria, process, economic buyer and champion.
Who started MEDDIC?
According to MEDDIC Academy's history page (checked October 25, 2026), MEDDIC came out of PTC (Parametric Technology Corp.) in the early 1990s. PTC's internal training team, named on the page as Jack Napoli, Dick Dunkel and Anne Gary, gave it the name. The page calls MEDDIC the result of teamwork, not one person's creation.
How much does MEDDIC certification cost?
MEDDIC certification prices vary by provider and program. MEDDIC Academy lists Full MEDDPICC at $297 and Advanced MEDDPICC at $597; its Intro course is free. MEDDICC.com lists its Masterclass at $499 for 12 months and individual annual membership at $899. Both providers tailor enterprise options, so compare what certification includes before choosing.
How do you make reps keep using MEDDIC after the workshop?
To keep reps using MEDDIC after a workshop, schedule practice around the questions they skip, such as economic buyer, paper process or competition. Score attempts against consistent criteria, give managers a view of scores and practice minutes, and repeat practice on relevant deal types. A course can teach the framework, while role-play and call review help reinforce its use.
What kinds of sales training exist for a methodology rollout?
The best MEDDIC training programs combine at least 2 of 5 kinds of training: certification courses, instructor-led workshops, enablement platforms, AI practice with scorecards and call review. MEDDIC Academy and MEDDICC.com sell courses, Force Management runs workshops, SalesHood adds enablement content, and PitchMonster, Kendo, Hyperbound and Second Nature cover practice.
The bottom line
Teach MEDDIC first, then plan how reps will keep using it. The 3 course programs tie in our scoring, so choose by format: MEDDIC Academy for certification with published prices, Force Management for an instructor-led enterprise rollout. Add PitchMonster when your team needs repeated practice scored against MEDDIC / MEDDPICC criteria. Consider Kendo for call review or Hyperbound for practice with real-call scoring.
